Nathaniel has just started in a new job. His boss comes to his desk and asks him to make a photocopy of his passport. Nathaniel heads to the photocopy room, and is immediately struck by the strange hum coming from the photocopier. He makes a copy of his passport, but rather than a paper copy appearing in the tray, an exact physical replica of his passport is produced. Confused, Nathaniel then copies the two passports to produce four. And then the penny drops…
