UK Film Council presents a programme of short films from the 2009 Digital Shorts scheme. Made in partnership with the UK Film Council’s New Cinema Fund and Strategic Partners from across the UK, Digital Shorts enables filmmakers to make innovative shorts using digital technology. Lifesize Pictures manage the UK Film Council’s short film schemes.

MY DAD THE COMMUNIST (Lab Ky Mo) Tony is a teenager whose ‘inscrutable’ Chinese Dad never speaks. Tony yearns to reach out to his Dad before it’s too late.

BIG TINGZ (Mustapha Kseibati) Two teenagers accept a mission to become part of the local gang but find themselves over their heads dealing with drugs, S&M, a Rottweiler and a stolen bike.

GOD & LUCY (Tom Marshall) Lucy, aged 8, travels to meet God after finding him on the internet.
