Sophie and Elle have a happy family life with loving parents. But, when one of the parents has an affair, the very existence of the family is threatened. In this case, with disastrous consequences.
The film was born out of the 13-19 year-old students wishing to make a film about how family breakdown affects young people as nearly all of them had personal experiences of this. They felt that coping with this experience was putting enormous pressure on their lives. Many were left caring for siblings, supporting their parents through difficult times and struggling to deal with their own relationships when home life was stressful. |
